The Best of We – Prayers

twoFor many people, praying is an incredibly enriching experience. Prayer life is the cornerstone of their faith.

For others,  praying can be a little awkward and uncomfortable. Prayer requires a lot of the one praying. Praying with sincerity requires the prayer to be vulnerable and to acknowledge deeply personal truths. Praying is an intimate experience with God. For some people, it takes work to get to a place of intimacy, to become vulnerable, and to acknowledge deeply personal truths.

Still, praying is vital to one’s faith. Praying is vital to the community of faith. The second message in the series, The Best of We, considers how one faithfully participates in the ministries of a church by their prayers.

In short, we give thanks to God for what God has enabled us to become. And, we make supplication to God so that we might become the people God intends for us to be! Above all, we participate by our prayers so that God is glorified in all things!

If you have a moment, have a listen to this second message of the series, The Best of We, Part Two.
