For example, an iPhone will shut off once it reaches 115 degrees. The function protects internal components of the phone.

Parenthood is a privilege (and a blessing). Parenthood provides parents the privilege of participating in the life of a child. Parents participate by assuming responsibility for the care, nurture, and development of the child – for this reason, there is purpose to parenthood.

There is a greater purpose, still. From a Christian perspective, there is a greater purpose to parenthood reaching beyond the care, nurture, and development of a child.  Continue reading
